The region

The village of Vikos is situated 51 km from the town of Ioannina, it is built 770 metres above the sea level and it belongs to Central Zagori. It offers panoramic view to Vikos canyon and to the imposing massif of Astraka and it is literally choked with vegetation.

Like the other villages of Zagori, the houses are built of stone and wood, combined perfectly together with a unique architecture which impresses the visitor.
